Templeton meals tax revenue for FY24 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024) = $83,879.00.
I remember when Carter (TA) and Eric (Management fellow/ATA) brought this forward. Eric put together a simple to understand pamphlet. Promoted it as a means to fund the Cruiser fleet and assist with purchase of DPW truck if memory serves me(???)
From $42,000 to $83,879 in a few years is awesome. Now we need to follow something along the lines of what Mr. Bennett has mentioned before. Directing this money to a separate account to fund these items rather than relying on the good will of the TA and Chairman we have at the time.

Like anything that raises taxes, this money will be wasted. It won't provide taxpayer relief. BOS and TA think wrongly about "revenue".
