The clerk of the regional school district committee shall file notice with the municipal clerk of each city and town within such district and each such municipal clerk shall post the notice in the manner prescribed for local public bodies in that city or town.

(b) As an alternative method of notice, a regional school district committee may post a meeting notice on, by majority vote, adopt the regional school district's website. as its official notice posting method. The regional school district committee shall file and post notice of the website address, as well as directions on how to locate notices on the website, in each city and town within the region or district in the manner prescribed for local public bodies in that city or town.

If you go to Templeton Town website, you will find a link to the NRHS website.

Go to Town website  look to left for box titled Town resources - click on useful links and you will stumble upon a ink that will direct you to the Narraganset district website, where you should find the meeting postings you are looking for.

Then again, you might not find them and if they have not been posted properly, the district will be notified.

Isn't the manner for posting local public body meetings in Templeton on the town website. No matter which version you like both require "direction".

"municipal clerk shall post the notice in the manner prescribed" Why would the MUNICIPAL clerk be posting on the schools site? Its obvious it should be on the town site.

  2. Hi Bob,
I think the municipal clerk would post to the TOWN's website not the school's website. My reading of this OML regulation is that the school committee secretary would send the notice and posting of the meetings to the town (as in municipal) clerks (Templeton AND Phillipston).

The town clerks would then post to each TOWN's place for public meeting postings, which in Templeton is the Town of Templeton's website under
    MEETINGS.

    1. Yes Julie

I agree with you explanation. Much clearer than mine. I need a secretary???

It does appear that they have not been following that regulation for a while. Maybe it should get fixed?

This is one of the reasons I think all town committees and boards need to be informed, then held accountable. But we need a process.

  3. Oh, When RuthLess was superintendent the school district paid its legal counsel to rule that they didn't have to post school committee meetings to Templeton or Phillipston municipalities. Looks like the OML rules have changed.

  4. Ms. Farrell are you the same person affiliated with that conspiracy, infowars page Templeton Times ?

  5. So,because Mr. Hill does not like something, it is in his opinion an "infowar page". Very simple solution is just don't read it. It is their right to post anything they choose.

  6. A conspiracy theory is the belief that a group of people often powerful people — collude in secret in order to make plans that are widely seen as malevolent. That’s the simple definition.
Conspiracy thinking is lazy, damaging and weak. It undermines the already shaky confidence people place in its government institutions. People like my question of Mrs Farrell “ they have the right “ seem to revel in it. I’m not sure if your comment is an admission that in fact “they” are affiliated with that conspiracy ( sandy hook , deep state conspiracy) blog but that is where my mind went. Mrs Farrell has a public megaphone via the Municipal Govt she chooses to represent. That one promotes conspiracy theories via links to fringe tinfoil sites is disturbing.
Persistence is a funny thing. Either it’s an exalted sign of a noble being willing to suffer a task against all odds, or it’s an indication of an idiot unwilling to change his/her mind.

  7. William, You do realize that a conspiracy is usually called such by the none believer correct? Personally I would think the lazy thinking related to conspiracies are those who write them off as crazy, lunatics, etc...........

Can you explain how this "conspiracy webpage" is any different than Main Stream Media?

Question: If I believe or promote some outlandish, unpopular, hypothetical theory does that automatically make all my other theories unreasonable?

To your last line on persistence : Popularity of the opinion doesn't determine who the idiot is. How many items do we understand today as fact that were once a wild conspiracy?

Wow, How American of you? Because I believe everyone, even you has the right to your own beliefs and right to express them you're "lining me up on the wall". I find your need to group and classify people in order to limit the legitimacy of comments pathetic and typical.
As far as MSM, you pick, any of them. Which one doesn't promote some position?

You know whats funny. Here you are whining to me, and about me, regarding a website that I have never visited. I know nothing about it other than what I've read here. I still would fully support his right to publish any and all legal material.

The only two people here talking about and promoting what is writen on the "bad site" are you and William, Ironic?

    1. In my opinion, Bob is right !I will be dammed if I am ever going to tell anyone they do not have the right to have an opinion. I do not have to agree or like it. What you read is your business. What I read is mine. The general idea is that you have the right to do what you want. No one has the right to take that away ! Bev.
