The following could have been written by dave smart, but alas, it was put out by Templeton Town Administrator.

TO: Board of Selectmen
FROM: Carter Terenzini, Town Administrator
RE: Administrator’s Weekly Report
DATE: August 31, 2017
CC: All Departments

VACANCY – SEWER CLERK - PT @ 19+/- HRS/WK – SEE WEB SITE

Town Hall Staff: As you know, the Town is considering sharing a Town Administrator/Manager w/Winchendon. We are now open M-F and they are now open M-F. Obviously, Mr. Hickey cannot be in Templeton 2 days a week and Winchendon 3 days a week if our buildings are only open four days a week. Someone has to change. Without making any commitment to which Town will switch, there will be a special all (Town Hall) staff meeting at the end of the day Wednesday (09/05) for me to understand any concerns that you might have if we switched to a Tuesday to Friday work week here at Town Hall.

First, how does M-F equal four days a week?  Next Wednesday is September 6.

Business Meeting or Workshop: N/A

Weekly Report: We finalized the forest cutting plan for the Dump site and submitted it to DCR for review and approval. Once we get their OK we can go out to bid. As I mentioned previously we will then proceed with the Highway site. I’ve prepared a countdown to a potential Fall TM for 11/14. It is now being reviewed by involved staff to make sure I have not missed anything. We had several supplemental filings on ongoing litigation that consumed much of our time. Follow-up on the Barre Road property being developed by the Corporation for Independent Living (CLI) continues and I’ll be reviewing the matter again on 09/06 with an area resident who would like the Board to take a formal stand on this matter. Discussions continue on the most cost-effective way to have a fleet ready to take on the winter season given deterioration of the vehicles and sanders beyond what we had anticipated and planned for. Alan and I expect to solicit pricing in the next few days and have a formal proposal before you on 09/11.

This memo just may indicate what selectmen are thinking about doing with any potential "free cash" gained before the planned special town meeting. I hope there is a plan on building the Town's stabilization fund with some of that anticipated money.

  1. I caught that on my first read the other day and just shook my head. Apparently these are read and signed off on by the TA.................lol. It appears in Templeton we don't have time to actually read or proof items before we publicize them.

How does the Town Equipment deteriorate beyond what was anticipated?? Why is this only noticed now? It appears to me that the term "planned for" is being used improperly. If things were actually planned a piece of equipment would not deteriorate beyond use from March till August. Did anyone do an inspection at the end of year and pass on any information to management? Taxpayers are being led to believe that these pieces of equipment were fine in March, but now in September are in need of replacement, really? How bad were these parts in March? It just seems like this information should have been available long before now if attention was being given to the equipment.

  2. Pony up riders!!!
Fork it over. I think new trucks are the way to go 3 or 4 ,new sanders, new body.
This town deserves a highway fleet of good condition trucks so the people paying the bills get the service they paid for,not what the AC thinks they should get after they save up for the school department. Over ride needed for this safety thing ,you know. Short on trucks and manpower. Get ready and this AC noise needs to be muffled.
Time to ask around and see about what people think of the AC ideas and report back on the real Blog for Templeton's people.
The town has let the can get kicked till the can is round now.
It's no surprise the can rolls when the wind blows.
Save for what AC, the increases in the school needs?
Why don't we cut cut cut and then we can raise even less when we need it the most.
Another good jobby jefie you caught a boo boo on a date.WOW I'm impressed "again".
Now if you could only advise something.
    Too funny. lol

  3. Looks like the normal blaming of others from Davey. Yup, its the AC's fault you misjudged your equipment you professional. Yup, its the AC's fault your department didn't submit these items as required to the capital planning committee. This is only the what, second time this year the bylaw is potentially being by-passed?

Yes David, the Highway should have the best equipment available, but when you dont allow for the BOS to plan the purchases and require emergency purchases it costs taxpayers more money and hurts the present budgeting. This behavior creates the need to "kick the can down the road" as you mention.

Get some facts straight your embarrassing yourself.

  4. Let me worry about me boob!
We asked for over rides and got turned down when the rate was lower.
    Do you remember?
As far as the ACs help it has done more to hurt the town.
can't take the blame get out of the way and let some in who will make a difference that know about the past down turns of the towns ability to keep up with the school needs.
By the way bob it starts like i said with the E+D levels and use of it.
When it runs out you will say we need a over ride and look to cut like in the past.
Another great job of filling the hole in the sand with your head.
So if the AC has nothing to do or say about the school E+D fund they use to fill the gaps i guess there's no AC at all is there!!
So what is the level of the E+D fund last year and now?
You need to know it or the hole in the sand is still full.
Christ man wake up and smell the fart will ya.
Find out and advise what will come up next year or just play DUMB
So advise when questions get asked or please step over so qualified people can take over, for the towns sake. It's not about the members it's about what the members do for the town they serve.
Stop your bullshit and work for the towns best interest for a change.
Or should i say can you.
Just the hike in fuel over one week should educate jefie about ht 100k amount that was budgeted. But then can he learn anything anymore?
    I wonder!

  5. David, I'm a citizen. If you have questions for the Advisory Committee go to a meeting and ask.
The AC doesn't "decide" anything, they advise. Maybe you need a better understanding of the process.

Can't answer questions about your own department davey, but are trying to tell others how to do theirs...........typical waste of time talking to you.

  6. So the AC members don't get info when asked? I guess that's another big 0 ZERO for the spokesperson's bloggy here lil jefie boy.
So to think after asking a question easy enough to answer it would be a direction for green AC members like you bobi to head in.
Find info to be better advisors and with clear minds do good for the town.
I guess it's a good thing your not an elected bunch of weeds.
Sorry i was only trying to point your misguided approach to where it would find the golden eggs we keep loosing year after year.
Just the hike in fuel over one week should educate jefie about ht 100k amount that was budgeted. But then can he learn anything anymore?
    I wonder! you either?
    I'm a citizen bob.
You know typical for sure bobi.
Capital planning that didn't exist? How does that process ever work bobi.
    Clicking your heals?
You seem to have forgotten the past and have no recollection of how the town was.
Blinders are a good tool when your now on the AC i guess!
Stop your bullshit and work for the towns best interest for a change.
Or should i say can you boys even do that much?
I guess i struck a nerve for you bobi it's was intended to get through as your thickness is not the norm. You hide as a citizen when the answers aren't there for you to give and you talk about me?
So quit take lil jefie along and be bloggers that let the people who can make a difference make some.
You'll feel better about yourselves when you do. Help the town soon.
Thank you for your lack of credible input again and again.
    I still wonder.

I dont know why I even bother. You just like to argue without facts. Enjoy

  12. Wrong again "A" both non union till 6 months are up and licenses are passed.
So for your info "A" getting into winter months could be a issue for some roads in town if we have to advertise for replacements. Not that you would understand that process like bobi has a problem with any other logic here.
    Wipe again!

i guess if the pig and cows have a law suit they could but testifying may smell worse then you Anons in a court room.
Get a life Jefie and drop this shameful electronic blob you call information.
You and your pal anonos are a pile not worth the internet space they wrote on.
So anonos are allowed their opinions and hide from it every comment.
Lack of a backbone is what comes to mind and no credibility is what people who read this gibberish garble think.
So Jefie you should come out of hiding and face the world it will make you feel much better and less time spent on the wipes.
Like the "opinion" thing we all have but when your a hiding Anonos or a switcher like you it gives people the sense you have a "problem".
    Do you jefie?

A union steward has time to bullshit and gossip. The new employees are trying to keep their job. What a shame that the shop steward badmouthed them on Templeton's busiest blig. He's a blowhard and a bully.

  21. Anons language is a poor excuse for a quiter.

    "blig"
    Templeton busiest blig

It's/his foolish words not mine folks
you read it here on this his lil blig

WOW you should just give it up man. Take a break and compose a little.
Nice to see i got to your lil head and will do so more as you don't have a clue about the AC or any other parts of Templeton you try to understand.
There should be a few openings in the AC if the non solvers get the idea to quit and let some who have a clue get the job done.
It takes a team not the rogue fools here who personalize and ridicule for petty things they find.
The people in Templeton should be allowed to have better government reps in all the branches of government. Working together to rebuild our town and unity for the community is how it starts. Not what the boys of blunder here have to offer.
Should we change to an elected AC and call it a Board?
Would we be better off and have a future we could say works well.
I'll ask around and see if people think that's the way to go and stop the representation without any choice of who it is doing the representation.
So read this poor excuse for a blig whatever that is.
Anons here are so confused trying to keep up with the mirror they look into.

Are our illustrious leaders totally stupid? What town or city in the commonwealth does not have it's town/city hall open on a Monday? Most of the towns have no hours or limited hours on Fridays. And then when there is a Monday holiday the town hall would be closed on Tuesday also! Not to mention that Winchendon voters do not want to share their TM. Is this all for Holly who is now busy on Monday nights being a selectman in Athol.

So can he grow up or is he stuck here in the ANONOS SPHERE he has created to control himself in. He credibility has brought him to the corner and without any direction he will be stuck there as he shows the repeated comments over and over again and again. Surely he has a problem he hasn't gotten any help with or if he did it failed as some who seek it are left the same state of mind.

Another poor spelling error from the zero again and again over and over. It's "incoherent" like you are most of the times here.
It could be that loss of brain tissue that could be your problem that would explain a lot about your abilities and lopsidedness.
