In case you are wondering, a company called space age electronics is moving into the building at 252 Baldwinville Road, This means that a building that has been the home to multiple manufacturing processes over the years should once again be a manufacturing facility. Rather than being off of the tax rolls, as would have been the case if it had been converted to a town hall, it will now be generating property tax revenue for the Town. While it may not be brand new, I believe the re-purposing of an already town owned building that was first a school and is now a Town hall was a smart decision for Templeton. There is a short you tube video announcing this move, reportedly from Athol to Templeton. This could also affect another local business, the Kitchen Garden, by hopefully an increase in their business from the employees of the new business. Lets hope that this Sterling based business is in Templeton for the long haul and if more expansion is in the future, it stays in Templeton.

  1. Sounds good to me. Any revenue the Town can get will help. Lets see how long it is on the books before the powers that be find a place to spend it !! Bev.

    1. The truth is the longer the Town is run the way it has been, the harder it will be to get things right. Everything has been neglected for so long, it will take time to get things back to where they should be. At the same time we continue to dig the hole we are in bigger. I do think there will be some big issues facing the school project. Things people have ignored. But they will come out in the wash, so hold on to your hat. Bev.

Thanks for the good news, Jeff. I would LOVE to know what our leaders are doing to market and promote our town as a place to open a business. Whatever happened to that letter writing campaign a former selectmen wanted to start to get a big box distribution center here? Oh that's right...he quit to be in a play. I guess we only have our stellar school district to lure people here. lolololol

Anyone have a clue about the solar panels going up in a village district without a hearing? I thought Templeton couldn't have solar panels because of TMLW not allowing it. So, how is it this giant structure can just go up without any red tape to jump through...in a protect village district, mind you? Is anyone leading this town? Why have rules if never followed?

Hey, you're the TMLW watch dog. I thought of anyone you'd have an intelligent response to this question about the solar panels. Just goes to show you are no longer interested in helping the citizens out anymore. You're only interested in bullying and name calling. If you have a relevant point to make, you wouldn't need to resort to smart-ass (pun intended) comments. So, Mr. Smartypants, please tell us about the use of solar panels in Templeton...without insults. Go!

We, as in 98% of townspeople who are sick of your useless incoerant gibberish rants all for your own gratification, because nobody knows what the hell your trying to say.
Another poor spelling error from the zero again and again over and over. It's "incoherent" like you are most of the times here.
It could be that loss of brain tissue that could be your problem that would explain a lot about your abilities and lopsidedness.
But all in all you keep up the hard work and some day that sign could come down.
We're scheduled to take and replace some soon. Junior was against them from the start.
