Police can only reduce crime if judges take the bad guys off the street and sentence them to time in jail or prison.
That's how police can reduce crime. That's the only way they can protect the public. If you can't defend yourself when a violent thug attacks, all the police can do is take crime scene photos.
How cost effective is it to pay a police force to keep the peace if nobody they arrest gets time in jail or prison?
Former Templeton Fire Chief went to Winchendon to build an empire. He's gotten a lot more money, and they have firefighters who sleep at the station. Manned, 24/7. But houses and factories still burn to rubble when they catch fire. Like the recent factory at 290 Lincoln in Winchendon.
We can have the same results as Winchendon without the 41.1% increase.
Wood's would be happy to bill medical insurance for the ambulance calls. With no cost to townspeople. No pensions or other Post Employment Benefits
