October 2, 2019
This is a document that has not been shared with anyone as of yet.
The "19,600,000" number is with a Teacher and a Nurse cut.  We are trying to find "other options" but this is all we have at this moment.

The $19,6 number is a heck of a lot better option than the 19,5

  1. I do not believe one single word.

Think about it folks. If you were really trying to save jobs, keep funding you would not just cut salaries. All full time jobs come with benefits.
Chris is proposing cutting 3 full time educators but no mention of savings from Benefits. Remember when Diane wanted the police Officer. Well it was listed as a $68,000 salary, but the job would cost us $120,000 with benefits.

Also remember that these folks talk about cuts from "wanted" budgets, not from actual people employed.

Ask questions! Ask for numbers, ask for facts and not this. We are asking NRSD to make $304,000 in cuts to a budget they increased $1,112,000.00.

Dont be fooled. Look at the history. Last year the increase to NRSD was $900,000 yet you hear them say, "it's always us having to cut"

You might not realize we are already paying $800,000 additional monies for the new Elementary School this year. On top of that the School Committee ( who could have footed the school bill according to agreement) is demanding $1,112,000 more even though the additional cost of the TES is listed at $340,000 in budget book.

Dont just accept what your told, look!

  2. Bob, Thank you for the work you do. It is important for people to know what they are voting for. Some truth in government would be nice, but it looks like it is not coming anytime soon. Please vote with your brain, not your emotions. It is not my place to tell anyone what to think, or do, but I am asking you to vote using the facts.
