To those who visit this blog, you should watch the youtube movie that is the Templeton board of selectmen meeting of July 11, 2018. Especially the last 20 or so minutes. A selectmen speaks to many issues raised here on this blog. A selectmen speaks to problems, concerns and questions raised, pointed out or asked by the Templeton Advisory Committee.

Some may request an order of humble pie with a side of crow. I enjoyed it so much, I watched it twice and will probably watch it again.

Note to selectmen Caplis; you should not leave your selectmen binder on the table in the conference room - with paperwork in it marked confidential!

  1. Templwton is saturated with irony whether we know it or not.
“ people should be able to go to meetings and speak “ Jeff Bennett.
Every selectboards meeting is open for town residents commenting, as witnessed.

  2. I remember not to long ago when Mr Bennett and Ms Farrell and old gentleman with the white hair and pencil ( his name escapes me - sorry ) was active on the BOS ... ( circa 2011 - 2014 )
Those videos are available ... just google :) Templeton Town meetings —- there are some good ones. By good ones I mean I’ve heard better “discussion and consensus and congenial conversations “ at the kindergarten playground.

  3. https://www.cleargov.com Why would a town get this ? Again 15 minutes lost discussing this mute point. Templeton is to penny wise ( 14 CENT PER PERSON : $700.00 per YEAR ) to purchase this platform.
DLS- DOR - DOE - cumbersome and lengthy people need access quickly accurately and —- timely . ATHOL ( exp used by Mr Bennett ) has people who know that tools like this help residents and by that the taxpayers understand easily thru Clear Gov collating info in a central easily readable site.

  6. I respect Cam for getting up and trying to change the direction of our Towns government. Our present set up leaves much to be desired. Hopefully with Selectman Fortes pushing this issue and some support from taxpayers we can get the change so desperately needed.

Watching our Advisory Committee meetings and seeing engaged, concerned citizens trying to make sense of whats going on is hopeful. I thanks each member for their considered input.

  7. I wonder how much the bill has to be before Justsmartenuff thinks its worth discussing? Maybe justsmartenuff is a Selectman as it appears meaningful discussion is not acceptable, only unanimous YES votes please.

  9. Wonderful speech!

    Templeton needs more than speeches.

When the long-term employees (think Carolee Eaton, Bud Chase, there are more) are treated like shit by the Board of Selectmen via their paid gun for hire Carter Terezini- how many more employees will leave this sinking ship.

Actually, it more like a rudderless ship. What direction should this ship of state, manned by pirates, take? Round and round we go ! How high must our taxes go?

How many vacancies for boards committees and commissions? Anyone except Bob M, keeping track?

Gotta love the way Master Fortes treated members of the Adv. Committee! Can't imagine why people aren't flocking to serve and full the vacancies.

You are reaping what you have sown.

    Good luck with the harvest!

  10. Your gardening skills speaking of reaping what one sows Ms Farrell were horrible and disturbing back in 2013 during your tenure on the ship 🚢 of fools.
