Hey selectmen, you sit on your hands and do nothing to market/sell 10 Pleasant Street, can you scoot on down to Drury Lane and get that mess cleaned up and then get on up to Baldwinville and Mobil station cleaned up where I am certain there is unlicensed activity taking place. Also while some town officials are trying to come up with a swish mark (watch the last meeting of EDIC) can you tell the residents what is the status of the old earthen damn up behind Baldwinville Station, ya'll just waiting til the levees gonna break? Mr. grasshopper Lamontagne, never mind the attempt at public relations and trying to deflect from lack of action on your part and part of select board, work on getting these things complete and then you might have something to market.

Yes, if you go into Baldwinville and head to Lee's hot dog stand, you will see a building with a bunch of cars/trucks, etc. on the lot. Once upon a time that was a mobil service station and later it was occupied by Mark Valliere and town of Templeton has been visiting it (reported in town admin weekly report a few times) for violations of multiple things. It needs to be addressed and done with.

I forgot about that. That was Kenny Morlock's garage before Valliere owned it.

  4. Once upon a time, in Templeton, there were 3 Mobil service stations, 2 shell, 2 Texaco, a citgo, Atlantic Richfield, Amoco, I think there were Gulf oil gas pumps, it was like dunkin donuts today. You got gasoline pumped for you, windshield cleaned and oil checked, all for the cost of how ever much gasoline you purchased, it was called customer service. Then we all decided we would do company jobs for free (we actually pay more now to do the work ourselves - I think we are getting dumber rather than smarter)

  5. I refuse to go thru the self check out at Walmart simply because I'd rather keep a person employed. They also respond better to questions and sometimes says "Thank you"..........it's the little things .........

  6. You mention 10 Pleasant St. Why was our DPW onsite, participating in a outsourced, contracted project?
Why is building and grounds box movers for Town Hall? Really Why?

I do love how the TA is promoting the fact that the Big Project completed in Templeton was Landscaping a house sized lot in Baldwinville center........and placing a sign, having a ceremony and now bringing it around again for 2nd year..............The roughly $40,000 Rivers edge park completed 2022, not bad for a $10 million dollar Town budget...........lol
