They will provide a 4 hour mini session on bidding basics and surplus.  This is a great overview for people who have not taken the full course(s) and a way to learn about recent changes in statute.

THERE IS NO COST TO YOUR TOWN.

Please let us know the names, job title and department of any of your staff or committees you would like to attend by 12 Noon on March 6, 2017 so we may have enough presentation material available.  (Max of 50 attendees)

  1. So Carter want's the "names of people who would like to attend !" What about making it mandatory for anyone who has any possibility of writing out a job order, or can buy supplies or employ a person to do work for the Town. I do not know about you, but I have had it with people doing their own thing, that in the end can cost us dearly. Any more of this funny stuff, and I am sure the State authorities will not be so forgiving. Bev.

    Bev I think you missed the point here - look at who carter sent the email to, people in the surrounding towns! they are not the ones with the procurement issues - Templeton is. Holly and the Templeton Selectmen and the TA need to attend this and learn that you can't split contracts to just hire who you want. Why is he trying to fill the room with people who have nothing to do with Templeton??

    1. Thanks, I didn't even look at that. What is he doing ? Trying to impress the State Officials ? Where is he going to put everyone ? just the people from our Town, if you include the School Department would fill the conference room up. I wonder if he is just creating problems ?
