A reminder of financial past in Templeton:

I will have to check and see if this is the same division that came to our Town in 2009, to tell us that we had to stop using free cash and any two cents we had, to fund the Town. It is too bad no one would listen. Maybe we would not be in this mess right now. Our Selectmen at that time were very insulting to these people, and refused to accept their report. I know we did vote to accept the report a few years later. How does insulting people from the DOR help the Town? If we had listened, we just might have a couple of dollars in the bank today. Oh, I forgot, we needed to have our books audited first.
