Houghton Park parking area paved, looks nice and is a good start to making that park a nice asset to the area. I think you can call that a service to residents.
Again this Group meets at the senior center, and the doors have been locked when the public tries to attend. How can taxpayers trust a group that meets and does not broadcast the meetings? A lot of money is being spent on parks which is nice but what’s the other money being spent on that we don’t know about, other things that we don’t know about! Yes, we can read a copy of the meeting minutes. The chair is Mom. The (Son) is the clerk starting to think this is a little shady. Mom runs a meeting. (Son) takes notes, notes edited??? You don’t know unless you attend a meeting, we the people have to work later than their meetings are because we’re stuck in traffic. AGAIN, what is TCTV doing for the community? All meetings broadcasted all the time it’s that simple! People, know where your money is it’s being spent. Transparency? Don’t think this group likes transparency too much? Oh yeah, that’s right then now chair used to hide behind a monitor when those meetings were broadcasted. Word of the day transparency!!!
They had a full team but the now chair pushed them out, now they are down to 4. 2 of them are married so I am thinking they leave as a pair? That leaves mom and son…. Town residents are not joining this committee because of the chair! That is problem. So if the 2 members drop off in June that leaves Mom and son, but wait maybe the other son who is the chair of the capital planning committee aka waste taxpayers money on equipment that we have no idea of what inventory is out there that we paid for committee, and a town employee and for the 4th member they can take her husband who is the town moderator and boom they have a committee! What a team that would be! They could meetings around the dinner table, edit the minutes, never have a broadcasted open meeting! Come Templeton we can do better than this! So I will pass on joining the Jerry Springer show!!!!
Now, we just have to take care of it !
