Yet another another meeting done behind closed doors. Yeah, the public can attend, but why do we pay TCTV? Based off the meeting last night and spent a lot of time editing? What are they editing? All they worried about is scout hall wait TCTV hall wait scout hall wait TCTV hall. I’m so confused I don’t know who it’s supposed to be for now. TC TV is wasting valuable at select board meetings because they can’t get the hint. It should’ve been a one and done conversation. It’s not your house. You’re just a guest put your toys away when you’re done and let others play in the sandbox. It’s not rocket science. I’m a little scared Steve Castle. Looks like Mr. Rogers from Mr. Rogers neighborhood. He had his own studio. Why can’t Steve Castle? They look the same they talk the same. TCTV should stop wasting everybody’s time. Listen to the rules and move on, we have better things to worry about at select board meetings and TCTV clogging up the agenda time for them to move on. I just don’t understand people rave. They’re so valuable so valuable. Well they broadcast every meeting every time duh! Again, not rocket science.
ReplyDeleteMy impression over the past 8 years this project was going is Tctv was main tenant, they brought funding to Capital Improvement to fix, furnish and maintain the building. In which CPA funding package did you hear "scouts" involved.
DeleteJulie Richard's and John Caplis have been pushing to keep m TCTV out of 135 Patriots rd since before going for first funding packet. Back when Ms Richard's was talking about supporting the rehab by selling t-shirts. Nearly $300,000 later and 8 years and the same dumb argument that somehow a private group deserves a taxpayer funded building before a town department.
To top it off, the private group wanting to bring youth into our taxpayer funded town building for activities is liable for $2.9 Billion dollar youth molestation case.

TCTV serves Templeton residents, kept town operating during covid.All meetings need to be recorded. TCTV needs to be focus, montachustt TV, data lab are not entities I support.
I think Templeton residents spent a lot of money on mac & cheese back in the day. Wasn’t some of that money supposed to be earmarked to finish the senior center? Kitchen? Seems very strange, huge festivals and kitchen now out for bit and it’s being paid for from MONEY COULD’VE BEEN SPENT ON SOMETHING ELSE. BUT NO, WE GOT A ROB PETER TO PAY PAUL BECAUSE SOMEONE FELL ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL AND LET ALL THIS MONEY DISAPPEAR.

ReplyDeleteAnonymous 11:44 a.m. Did you speak to Steve Castle ? If not, why not ! That would work a lot better than complaining here. TCTV is valuable to the almost 400 viewers of one of the last Selectmen's Meetings.

ReplyDeleteNot complaining just using my freedom of speech rights. I should not have to talk to Steve. He works for us, he is a town employee. It’s nice to see the SOME open meetings broadcasted by ALL MEETINGS MUST BE MADE TO BE BROADCASTED! In these tough times EVERY PENNNY COUNTS. Don’t you wanna know where it’s going from every boarding committee not just to BOS Board of Health, etc? TRANSPARENCY FOR ALL BOARDS AND COMMITTEES.
