As One of the administrators of this blog i feel it's time to only allow posts that are of a civil nature without name calling and insults from the people who post comments.
The past comments and also some blog posts have shown to be from hast and will be no longer tolerated.
As my uncle Pauly said to me shut it down if it is not what you think it should be.
Please read it but comments will be restricted if allowed at all.
A total shut down of this blog will be done if it is whats best for Templeton.
Thank you!

After Davey apparently removed a comment from a blog, he posted the above comment, so watch how he responds here.
I wonder if Davey will practice what he seems to be preaching?

  1. Yes Dave, I was and am totally disgusted by the misinformation promoted by the Liars Club!

I realized last night that any attempt to work with or through the BOS is pointless. We have seen a complete farse perpetrated by a public official using half truths to rally the board towards his cause using the public meetings.

Jeff, you have a point on many levels. Special municipal employees, yes, employees have rights and the BOS has responsibilities when interacting with them. Things like this in our Town Policies make acting like some Boards, well............you be the Judge.

    1. Persons who will be directly affected by proposed Board discussions and/or action will be notified by the Town Administrator and his/her designee of the date and timing at which the matter will be discussed or acted upon by the Board.

Would you say accusation of Harassment, Threatening, resignations might fall under this "Policy"? Is this one of the "we follow it sometimes "Policies"?

How about this one. It's an oldy, but a goody.
    '

SECTION 4: CONDUCT AND WORKING CONDITIONS Employees of The Town of Templeton must adhere to the highest levels of ethical conduct and service so that the public will have confidence that persons in positions of public responsibility are acting for the benefit of the public. Employees must avoid any action which might result in or create the impression of using public office for private gain, giving preferential treatment to any person, or losing impartiality in conducting Town business. Town employees are required to adhere at all times to the requirements of M.G.L. c. 268A, the Massachusetts State Ethics law.

    How about this one:

Unless otherwise directed or approved by the attorney general, the appointing authority, city or town clerk or the executive director or other appropriate administrator of a state or regional body, or their designees, shall obtain certification from each person upon entering service and shall retain it subject to the applicable records retention schedule where the body maintains its official records.

Half truths, get you Half measures.

So, to top it off. It appears critiquing this BOS by email, blog or posted regulations are all unacceptable means of pointing out poor government in this town. Dont worry, we don't have elected member rallying employees during work hours or promoting their political points. Not here. Not from the Superior Board!
