Emails within this document show a disturbing trend in Templeton governance.
Templeton needs a bylaw limiting selectmen to serve only on the board of selectmen, per recommendations from department of revenue in 2 financial reviews of the town of Templeton. Templeton already has bylaw limiting elective offices held by selectmen - only the board of selectmen.
If I'm not mistaken the DOR has suggested/requested that Templeton keep its Selectman off other Committees/Boards/commissions within town on 2 separate occasions yet the Selectman refuse to comply.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone understand Executive, legislative and judicial and its rational? Why do we think that our Executive Branch should direct our legislative branch(town meeting) and then sit on our committees usually in the Chairmans position (capital improvements, Scout Hall, EDIC, etc,etc)
