Dave smart - wrong!
- Advisory Committee handled every financial transfer (s) that came before them. Some transfer action took two meetings in part because the Town Administrator and selectmen FAILED to provide proper documentation. In fact, it was Advisory Committee members work that discovered and forwarded to the town accountant that the balance of the town vehicle fuel fund was off by $3,000.00 dollars. Oops!
- If the pie that smart uses is a reference to the Templeton town reserve fund, that is under control of Advisory or finance committee per Massachusetts General Law. If he does not like that, contact your state legislature. The are rules and laws that govern how and what it can be used for. It is also not the Advisory Committee fund, it belongs to the town and is voted on at town meeting, as to how much will be put into that fund.

The persons on the IAC have got no clue as to what it is costing the town. Some of them have stated publicly a few years ago they did not want any changes to medical ins. no matter what it cost the towm asks HY
Spelling for town is done like this you ZERO "TOWN" i guess towm is where you went to the school for Zeros training.

I am sorry but I have no ides what Dave thinks the AC didn't do for the Highway Dept. Carter was the one who took money from their account to fix the pump on the fire truck. That money should have come from the kReserve Fund. He would not do the right thing because he wanted to save the Reserve money to bail the budget out at the end of the year. I remember a transfer the Highway needed late last winter to fix a sander. We voted for you it. I know I did not want to be responsible for anyone getting hurt, climbing up to brake up chunks of dirt in the dark, on some road by themselves. We cannot hand out money, even if we wanted to. Your Selectmen can request transfers, and we can say yes or no. (We meaning the AC) We determine if there is enough money in the account to transfer out of. The law says it has to be an emergency for money to be transferred from the Reserve Fund. A failure to plan is not a emergency, (as Bubba found out one time) So I have no idea why Dave is so angry with the AC. Just maybe his buddy John Caplis has handed him a line of crap, trying to make us the bad guys ! Do you think ? Just maybe !!

So to set her memory up again she was half correct.
Carter did order the use highway repair money to fix pump unknown repair needs.
The funds needed were to be returned after transfers could be made when the AC could meet and decide to do it.
Problem was meet when.
It had to be after the repairs were done and time to vote to request then meet again and again. Starting to sound like you know who JB you guessed it. Delay and hold out till the fleet at the highway was all but 2 trucks red lined.
The mechanic runs out of all funds we needed and the blame game AC/BOS was in full swing. Boy i hope when we use fire funds again we don't have to do any transfers and wait till this goes around and around.
So when you hear the one sided stories here and never hear the other side think who the problem is the BOS or the AC.
The transfer time frame from the AC to the needed account has a flaw and it's the way the AC feels how it will respond and at what attention it will get,when it gets it.
All this Anonymous is aside of the real problems here in Templeton and it's mostly a tit for tat problem.
Bev accusation of Caplis is as good as she can get like the Zero who belittles all the laborers operators drivers who support this massive engine we all call a economy.
Huff n Puff was a zero back then and is a ZERO now.

David, the Highway problem did not happen overnight. We can only make a transfer happen after we get the request, and it should have enough information for it to be done in one shot. If that did not happen, then we did not receive the information we needed. That is the responsibility of the TA, and ultimately the Chairman of the BOS. It is as simple as that. Bev.
