Article 35. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Four
Hundred Thirty-Seven Thousand, Four Hundred Eighty Dollars
($437,480.00) for payment of the long-term debt for the expansion and
renovation of the roof repairs and for the roof repairs at the Narragansett
Middle School in accordance with debt exclusions voted on January 22,
1996, September 10, 2007, and January 11, 2011, or to take any other action
relative thereto.
Submitted by the Narragansett Regional School District Committee.
On a motion duly made and seconded the town voted to raise and
appropriate the sum of Four Hundred Thirty-Seven Thousand, Four
Hundred Eighty Dollars ($437,480.00) for payment of the long-term debt

Article 28 To see if the town will vote to raise and appropriate, transfer from available funds, or
otherwise provide a sum of money for the payment of long-term debt for the
expansion and renovation of Narragansett Regional High and Middle Schools and the
repair of the Narragansett Middle School roof, or to take any other action relative
thereto.
Submitted by the Board of Selectmen for the Narragansett Regional School Committee
On a motion duly made and seconded the town voted that Four Hundred Thirty Five
Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Five Dollars ($435,995) be raised and appropriated
from the FY 14 tax levy and other general revenues of the town to pay for the Town of Templeton’s share of long-term debt for the expansion and renovation of
Narragansett Regional High and Middle Schools and the repair of the Narragansett
Middle School roof.

Anyone may go to the Templeton Town website, click on Town Meeting and peruse a the articles to see when any funding was made to pay for a new roof. You may also wish to contact the district office to inquire of the same.
Jeff, if you look back you will find that we spent a good sum of money to replace the roof on NRHS in the seventies. I was on the BOH at the time. So why are we going to put a flat roof on the new school ? It is like pouring water down a hole in a sand bank !
